Our Southern France trail will start at a large quarry not far from Bordeaux, and then continue west through the Midi Pyrénées region before heading south to the Pyrénées Mountains and the world’s largest talc mine. Our journey will then take us along the Mediterranean coast before we head north to our final destinations in Provence. Excavator highlights of the programme will include the only Terex O&K RH90 in the country, a high-altitude Liebherr R994B filling Komatsu HD985 trucks, and a very special, long-reach Liebherr R994. We will also see the largest working dragline in Europe, an 800-tonne Ruston-Bucyrus RB 480. Our journey ends at another rare dragline, this time a Lima, working in a gravel pit.
